iKnowtion Senior Partner to Lead Direct Marketing Association Virtual Seminar Don Ryan to Discuss Benefits of Multiple Segmentation Strategies
BURLINGTON, Mass. – October 27, 2008 – iKnowtion, a premier marketing and analytics consulting firm, announced today that senior partner Don Ryan will lead a virtual seminar sponsored by the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) on November 4, 2008 at 1:00 PM EST. The presentation, entitled “Multiple Segmentations Are Better Than One,” will provide attendees with proven tips and best practices used by companies that have successfully applied multiple segmentation strategies to increase marketing effectiveness and improve bottom-line results.
In today’s complex business environment, customer segmentation can be derived based on customer attitudes, demographics, product ownership, channel usage and an assortment of other personal behaviors. In his presentation, Mr. Ryan will assert the best way for companies to understand their customers is to utilize several segmentation schemes simultaneously.
Specifically, attendees will learn how to:
 | | Leverage a broader range of information assets to improve customer development strategies and programs; | | Integrate multiple segmentation solutions to drive customer value; and | | Ensure that a multiple segmentation solution is implemented successfully. |
“Companies generally do not leverage all of their information assets when analyzing their customers and designing marketing strategies,” said Mr. Ryan. “This seminar will discuss how using multiple segmentation schemes together can arm marketers with the ability to understand their customers better and create competitive advantage.”
