The right candidate must be a seasoned marketing analytics professional with demonstrated experience implementing analytic solutions that best support clients’ specific business needs. Working directly with both client and internal business consulting colleagues, the candidate will play a lead role in designing, developing and managing a broad range of large-scale client database analyses.
The ability to manage a team of analysts and collectively evaluate large amounts of consumer data to cull out key insights to support data-driven marketing opportunities is a must.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide thought leadership both externally with clients and prospects and internally with business colleagues on the application of marketing analytics
Lead a team of marketing analysts and senior marketing analysts responsible for developing marketing analytic solutions for the company’s growing client base
Collaborate with client and internal consulting teams to set analytic objectives, approach, and work plans
Oversee the delivery of a broad mix of client analyses, such as customer profiling, segmentation studies, predictive models, post-program measurement, and other ad-hoc projects
Provide both client and project management support
Package and prepare deliverables that effectively summarize analyses and provide recommendations on how key analysis insights can be used to positively impact clients’ business
Participate in occasional travel to client and offsite meetings
Qualifications/Experience
10+ years of experience and a proven track record in the management and development of marketing analytic solutions
Strong, practical knowledge of database and direct marketing, a range of statistical and data mining tools and techniques, market research, predictive modeling and customer segmentation
Graduate degree in business, economics, or quantitative methods preferable
Experience working in a consultative role, either at a consulting company or a marketing services firm that offered marketing analytic services
Demonstrated ability to interpret analytic output and provide actionable strategic recommendations
Strong client and project management skills and experience
Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
